This isn’t keto. Look at the carbs…
Hi Kat!
First, thanks for pointing out the error we had in the nutritional information. We had incorrectly had a saccharin based sweetener in the recipe (not cool!) rather than our preferred Stevia in the Raw. You can see now that the Net Carbs for this smoothie comes out to 4g and the Total Carbs sits at 38g.
I always like to use Net Carbs (it’s what helped me lose 28 pounds on a Keto diet). https://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2014/11/30/Total-Carbs-or-Net-Carbs-What-Really-Counts
True…u Almost Use all your Carbs for the day
We’re going to have a look at this and either adjust or double check the calculations there. Thanks for spotting this!
I loved the texture of this smoothie however too much avocado !! It overpowered the smoothie will try half of an avocado next time
Glad it worked for you and we’ll update the recipe with your feedback!
It’s not that much carb because if you’re eating contains more than 5 grams of fiber you can subtract half the grams of fiber from the total grams of carbohydrates. But only if it’s 5 grams of fiber or more. So 14-22=8 carb.
