Supreme Green Bean Casserole

Creamy and cheesy this green bean casserole will leave you wanting more. It’s rich, creamy, and flavorful. Loaded with cheese and bacon this keto dish will be a family favorite.

Supreme Green Bean Casserole

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook green beans to your liking.
  3. Mix green beans with the chopped bacon in a large bowl.
  4. Mince the onion, garlic, and parsley, keeping them separate and zest the lemon.
Supreme Creamy Cheese Sauce:
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add the bacon drippings when the pan is hot.
  2. Add the minced onion and saute until translucent
  3. Add the garlic and saute until soft.
  4. Turn down the heat to medium then add the parsley, lemon zest and wine. Saute until the smell of the alcohol has burned off.
  5. Add the softened cream cheese in the pan, ddd the chicken broth little by little and whisk to combine until the cream cheese has melted.
  6. Turn the heat to medium-low and let the sauce bubble. Add the cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper.
  7. Pour the sauce into the bowl with the green beans and bacon and stir together.
  8. Pour the green bean mixture into the buttered baking dish.
Topping
  1. Crush ⅓ cup of pork rinds and pour the crumbs into a small bowl and add granulated garlic and salt.
  2. Add 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil and mix together with your fingers.
  3. Sprinkle over the casserole.
Bake
  1. Put the supreme green bean casserole in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  2. When sides are bubbling remove from oven.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
