Van I make without the egg? And substitute dairy cheese with vegan cheese?
It would be nice to have the macros on your recipes!! Thanks!
Hi Elaine, that’s a great point, we put together a couple of hundred recipes but we’ll start to add those to the most popular recipes!
that’s an awful lot of work for you – and very generous. I would think people could do their own right from the ingredients
Thanks Tipsy – it is alot of work but me and my wife enjoy this little passion project. 🙂
No pintrest button?
Hi Barbara, there is a Pinterest button just below the recipe and above the nutritional info. Perhaps a little hidden. Pin away!
Can you use cauliflower rice??
Can these be frozen and cooked later?
Hi Wendy,
I’ve never made these in advance so I am unsure how well they would hold up! Let us know if you do freeze them!
I don’t believe the macro is correct – unless an ingredient is missing. I can only find 28g of fat in the whole recipe which breaks down to 7 per serving. No idea where the 33 came from. The carbs look right for 1 serving but the calories should be closer to 100 for 1 serving. The protein listed is about 2 servings or half the recipe.
Hi Jane,
Thanks for your comment!
We’ve updated our nutritional information and you should find that they are more accurate now.
If you’re gonna look it up yourself why even ask for it.
I know this was posted last year but I wanted to mention that I froze this recipe! Cook them without thawing. You may have to cook them on the stovetop with oil for the same crunchy outside 🙂
What is the serving size?
Hi Jacquelyn,
The recipe should yield 4 servings, the number per serving could vary depending on how large you make each tater!
I made them what I consider tator tot size, and it was around 12 per serving.
Hi Laura,
Thanks for letting us know!
Tried these, pretty tasty, but they fell apart quite easy? Anyone else
Did anyone have problems keeping them together
Hi Sue,
While they refrigerate, spray an ice cube tray with a little non-stick spray and they can form in there. Mini Muffin tins also work if you’re having trouble keeping them formed!
Do you think cauliflower rice could be used?
Suzette has a great question
Cauliflower rice?
So how many tots can you eat if you fix them tater tot size and what’s the carbs
Made this recipe as a side dish tonight. It was good but not “crispy”. Maybe I didn’t understand how to prepare the cauliflower. I had about 4 cups of fresh cauliflower florets that I steamed for about 10 minutes. Let them cool and then put them in a food processor. Made the rest of the recipe as directed except added some panko as an additional binder. It wan pretty good. Might try it again and roll the little rolls in additional panko for extra crispiness.
Can these be done in an air fryer? We use ours almost daily.
We’ve never tried that Tricia but I don’t see why not!
Approximately how many tots per serving?
